This is the first of a series of comics for Pimp Your Work.

While I review several productivity tools and discuss several methods here at Pimp Your Work, I don’t mean that you use them all.  Pick the best tools that suit your working style, and keep the number of tools you use to a minimum.  Otherwise, the tools that were designed to help you end up consuming too much of your time and energy.  When I first got into productivity, that was the mistake I made.

Also, it doesn’t meant that if a tool is right for you now, you have to use it forever.  When I had trouble figuring out where my time went and what my major time sinks were (you know, those things that needlessly consume your time), I used Rescue Time.  I stopped using it last week because I got my time sinks under control.

Now, I just use Google Calendar and  To Do List (for monthly record of work).
