Pimp Your Work - Improving Your Work Day Efficiency

Resistance is Futile

by Scot Herrick on February 12th, 2007

One of the things David Allen, of Getting Things Done fame, talks about in his seminars is that you should “pay attention to what you are paying attention to.”

One of the things I’ve been paying attention to without paying attention to it is “resistance.” There are a lot of flavors of resistance, and I’ve been noodling around with a few of them.

For example, how does resistance prevent passion? Or, how does resistance prevent you from doing your best work? Or, how does resistance play against you achieving your goals? Or, how does your physical fitness effect your resistance to work or play?

I thought I’d put some of my thoughts down in electrons this week here on Pimp Your Work. You must read the posts. You see, resistance is futile!
