More info on the Vista laptop battery problem
As I talked about last week, laptop users are complaining that Vista is draining their batteries much faster than XP ever did. The Aero features seem to be the culprit, but I’ve learned a bit more about Aero recently. It turns out that just turning off the fancy features isn’t enough, you have to switch to a non-Aero theme too! Thanks to Ghacks I have the skinny now and think I’ll be able to squeeze as much power out of this puppy as possible!
