Workers of the world unite! Oh wait, wrong blog. Anyway welcome to PimpYourWork.com. What’s this pad all about? Making that time you spend at work better, more fun, and maybe even easier.
Me? Well I’m a b5 media blogger over at the Homely Scientist, oh wait that doesn’t help much. Okay how about I’ve been a telecommuter/working from home guy for over six years? I worked for big pharma and did my time on front line tech support. Yeah that’s better. Also, I’m the guy who is always downloading stuff and trying it out. You know the type, find something, download it, try it, rave about it for a couple days, then when you ask about later, I’ve gotten rid of it because I didn’t like it. Yep, that’s me.
See, I’m busy like all of you and while I like to try new and cool stuff, I like new and cool stuff that actually helps me do my job better. I just don’t have a lot of time to goofy stuff that doesn’t work (though I do put up with betas that I’m testing for people).
I’ll be writing about tips and tricks I’ve learned for the software you already use, new software that will help you work better, collaboration and web conferencing, and lots of other stuff.
